Access Information

Golden Gate Promenade is located on Marina Blvd. between the St. Francis Yacht Club and Fort Mason Center. Taking 101 South cross the Golden Gate Bridge and stay on 101 until you reach Lombard St.. Take Divisedero St. and keep going until you get to Marina Blvd.

    The trail isn't crowded, but many people are drawn to it.

    Bicycle coaches come along frequently so hop on for a ride.

    What You Can Find Along the Trail



    Local attractions bring excitement to the young.

    Take the ferries over to "The Rock", Alcatraz Island.

    Sailboats race around the piers.

    From anywhere on the Promenade you can see fantastic sights.

    More boats race along for a cool prize.

    Coit tower is a lovely building you can see from the path.

    Stop into one of the local antique markets every Sunday.

    This guy may look mean but him and his parrot are rather pleasant.

    The Bay Bridge is a sight that everyone likes to see.

    Another boat gets rocked on the calm waves of the san Fransisco Bay.

    This fog may look bad and loom over the bay but we're not even affected by it.

    Pier 39, the Coolest Place on the Trail



    Pier 39's docks are home to it's famous seals.

    This magician lights up the faces of little kids.
