    Access Information

    Waterfront Park & Davenport Mini Park can be found between Ashby Spit Park (Point Emery) and the San Francisco Bay Bridge. It is located at the end of Powell Street. From Interstate 80/580 exit at Powell Street and continue to the end.

    Park Highlights

    Waterfront Park is a versatile park. Its large area allows for a variety of activities to take place. The pier is a romantic spot for people to visit. It also provides a place for people to fish. One can also fish off the rocks surrounding Waterfront Park. Davenport Mini Park and the surroudning knolls make cool spots to have picnics, play games, or just sit and enjoy the view from. This park is very diverse.

    Waterfront Park & Davenport Mini Park

    On arriving at Waterfront Park, a vast amount of things greet you. Not just the ocean and the surrounding mountains enchant you, but the natural beauty of the park.

    This sign indicates that you are at Emeryville Marina, part of Waterfront Park.

    The harbor houses many boats.

    A couple walks along the pier in the distance. The pier is a great romantic spot at the park. It is also a great place to fish.

    Some people walk along the trail to the parking lot. There are various parking lots surrounding the park, each with plenty of parking spaces.

    The trail extends around Waterfront Park. There are picnic tables, barbecues, and garbage cans making it convenient for people to have a picnic in the park.

    This lamppost is shaped like an old ship mast.

    It is dedicated to Don Allen Blair, a respected public works employee.

    Along the trail at Davenport Mini Park, San Francisco Bay Trail signs mark the area.

    A sailboat rocks gently in the Bay off the coast of the park.

    Some women walk along the trail near a grassy knoll at Davenport Mini Park.

    These grassy green knolls are great places for children to play, dogs to frolic, or to sit and enjoy the solitude.

    Again, the parking lots provide many parking spaces with plenty of room for many people to park their cars.

    Some men set up tents on the main lawn of Davenport Mini Park.

    People walk along the trail around the Mini Park.

    The view from the coastline out to the Bay is picture perfect.

    The trail provides a lot of entertainment for children and adults.

    The adjacent boathouse can give you information on how one can get docking rights.
